I am tormented by a world where foolishness is painted as wisdom, where absolute truth no longer exists but is corrupted and distorted until good and evil is simply left up to every persons individual perception. A world where wisdom is scorned and mocked, a world that desires short term pleasures other than long term prosperity. I live in a world where people rely only on their own selfish narrow minded viewpoints and are to proud to admit they are wrong even if the consequences for not doing so destroys lives. Even when the evidence is so overwhelming people still desperately cling to their lies. They hate the truth, for only then would they be forced to look at themselves. I live in a world that glorifies and rewards evil, and portrays good as a weakness. I live in a world where no one takes responsibility for their own actions, everyone has perfected the art of spitting out excuses to justify their selfish and despicable actions.
